Goals:
|

As President, to effectively guide this body of
dedicated volunteers during meetings and
throughout each year, and to raise awareness
within the neighborhood of this board's
presence, spirit, and willingness to truly
listen and try to help. As a board member, to
focus additional efforts towards projects that
would address overlooked problems with worn
roads and clogged storm drains, improve
under-served areas, beautify well-traveled
areas, raise historical awareness of the
neighborhood, increase our local and digital
outreach, and organize seasonal events for the
people of Winnetka.
And to uphold the mission of neighborhood
councils: "To promote more citizen participation
in government and make government more
responsive to local needs." |
