The Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates announce the release of their annual White Paper and Department Reports. This year’s White Paper takes heightened importance because of the projected City budget shortfall of nearly $1 billion.
As our City faces a projected $1 billion budget deficit, it is imperative that our leaders explore all available options for cost savings and revenue enhancements. We urge you to take a strategic and thoughtful approach, avoiding the mistakes of past administrations that implemented across-the-board cuts without considering their long-term impact.

The Budget Advocates spent months interviewing top City department management about their budgets, developing reports from those meetings, and producing recommendations to the City. Our White Paper can be found on the Budget Advocates website at 2025 Budget Advocates White Paper
