Saturday, December 10, 2022 we celebrated Winnetka’s Centennial at Winnetka’s Largest Park, the Winnetka Recreation Center! In addition to a 100+ tree give away made possible by LADWP, LA CityPlants, and TreePeople; community members enjoyed light refreshments with the Winnetka Neighborhood Council; rock painting with the Winnetka Chamber of Commerce; and the opportunity to meet members of Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s team! Thank you to all who came out to celebrate and an additional thank you to everyone who adopted a tree!
