Winnetka Street Improvement Project

This project provides safer connections to many destinations including Los Angeles River Path, the Metro Los Angeles Orange Line Winnetka Station and Bike Path, Pierce College, the West Valley Occupational Center, and the Woodland Hills Sunrise Little League Park. This project connects bicyclists with so many destinations while preserving existing traffic and turn lanes.

Winnetka Ave Street Improvements are Moving Forward!

After a year-long planning and public engagement process, LADOT has received approval to proceed with the final design and implementation of approximately 0.9 miles of new bike lanes on Winnetka Avenue from Vanowen Street and Oxnard Street, as well as a new signalized crossing (pedestrian hybrid beacon) at Winnetka Avenue and Gilmore Street.
