From the Councilmember’s Office:

Since it is projected to rain on Sunday, February 26th, and the LAPD and our partners need advance notice, we are rescheduling the Blumenfield Community Bike Ride for a future date. Because much of the ride is along the Los Angeles River, which is a flood control channel, it could be unsafe to bike in such conditions.

While the series of storms this winter has been great for relieving our drought, it has wreaked havoc on our event planning. I apologize to all of you who were planning on riding with us. Once a new date has been secured, I will send out a new invitation with the details.
