The City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department is hosting a workshop for businesses and organizations with FEMA on Thursday, May 18, 2017 and we would like to invite the businesses and organizations within your Neighborhood Council!

Did you know that 40% of small businesses and organizations never reopen following a disaster?

The Workshops will provide an overview of the QuakeSmart Community Resilience Program for Businesses and Organizations. Participants will be able to review and implement business continuity planning and mitigation project plans through the simple, step-by-step planning tools in the QuakeSmart Program.

Regardless of your experience level in preparing for disasters – please join us! Please extend this invitation to all businesses and organizations within your council. This workshop is completely FREE, but registration is required and space is limited.

Resgister HERE to be directed to the RSVP page or visit www.quakesmartcommunity.org for more information. Attendees can reserve free parking at City Hall by emailing me directly.
