Helping Hands Against Domestic Violence. Fundraiser located at Hope Chapel near Mason and Roscoe: “Purple Event” 10/17 3-6:30. Originally there to aid survivors of domestic violence. It’s community event with outreach to schools and parents.  It was suggested to notify elementary schools as well.   1/3rd of parents are in prison for domestic violence.  Clothes are still encouraged to be donated for battered women along with food.
