In April 2007, the Board unanimously approved a recommendation by the Public Works Committee to request faux red brick cross walks from Councilman Zine for the following intersections:
- Sherman Way & De Soto
- Sherman Way & Corbin
- Winnetka & Saticoy
- Winnetka & Oso Ave.
