The Winnetka Neighborhood Council Planning and Land Use Management (PLUM) Committee has been stalled for some time over the issue of providing adequate notice to neighbors of prospective developments. PLUM was not permitted to require the developer to provide notice and now has come up with a new solution, which is to post large notices at the location of the development.
On Tuesday, November 19, 6:30pm at the Winnetka Convention Center, 20122 Vanowen, next to the Winnetka Bowl, there will be a meeting of the PLUM Committee to discuss the proposal to put a Grocery Outlet in place of the Fallas at the corner of Sherman Way and Corbin and for the Grocery Outlet to have a liquor license.
