Winnetka Neighborhood Council was proud to celebrate with Martha Campos and Walter Calderon, owners of the new Grocery Outlet store in Winnetka. The bargain grocery store located at the intersection of Corbin St. and Sherman Way opened for business on July 2 and hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony July 10.
Campos and Calderon, a husband and wife team, said they worked hard over the past two years to secure the Winnetka Grocery Outlet location and they want to give back to the community. “We are committed to making a difference,” Calderon said.
The Winnetka Neighborhood Council voted unanimously to support the Grocery Outlet development project at the December 2019 board meeting.
